Do practices receive email notifications when patients make online appointments ?

Practices have the option to have appointment notifications turn on or off for NEW patients registering and making their first appointment. This is so some practices can verify these New patients.

An individual email or SMS notice of a new appointment can be configured to be sent to the individual Practitioner by adding the email address in the Practitioners individual configuration.

It would be redundant to email the practice for every appointment because Appointuit already synchronises in realtime and the appointment is visibly obvious in their appointment screen.
